Understanding the book of Daniel
Amir is very thorough in his explanation of the book of Daniel in the Bible, which fills me with real hope that comes only from God. We can trust prophecy as we can match up historic prophecy given to history fulfilled.

Heavily on the dubious 18th century idea ofRapture
The doctrine of a pre-tribulation Rapture, as emphasized in this book, is rooted in interpretations from the 18th and 19th centuries, popularized by figures like John Nelson Darby. However, Scripture does not explicitly teach this concept. For instance:
• Matthew 24:29-31 describes the gathering of the elect after the tribulation, not before:
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days… they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds.”
• 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, often cited to support the Rapture, actually refers to the Second Coming of Christ:
“For the Lord himself will descend from heaven… and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” This event clearly aligns with Christ’s final return, not a secret pre-tribulation event.
• John 17:15 records Jesus praying that His followers be kept from evil, not removed from the world:
“I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one.”
Tsarfati’s interpretation of Daniel is heavily filtered through this lens of dispensationalism, which distorts the timeless message of the text by prioritizing modern speculative theology. Unfortunately, this weakens the book’s overall credibility and risks leading readers away from a biblically sound understanding of end-times prophecy.
That said, Tsarfati does bring passion and enthusiasm to his writing, which may inspire readers to explore Daniel further. However, for those seeking a more balanced, biblically grounded study of the Book of Daniel, I would recommend exploring works that stay closer to the historical and theological context of Scripture.
