Discipline!
Brilliance, as usual from Ryan.
Ryan's application of his material as noted in the afterwars is as inspiring as the stories of those he's used as examples. The discipline to say no, to enable time to spend with family!

I throughly enjoyed this book. Beautifully written on an unfashionable subject that is avoided in schools.

Loved it
I was searching a long time for a book focused on discipline. Found it and it surpassed my expectations. Ordered other books by Ryan right after I finished this one. Will definitely read it again in the future.

loved it!
I'm relieved that this book was read by the author. I enjoy listening to Ryan as I listen to his podcast, daily.
I found the book helpful, insightful and interesting. I liked the examples he used of leaders demonstrating their discipline yet also not depicting them to be almighty and great. I appreciate the mention of flaws and depth to the examples.

Another great book by Ryan Holiday
There is no better way to learn about Stoicism than listening to Ryan’s books. Contemporary and full of research and wisdom. Love his style and the examples he gives in the book.
