About this listen

After a series of solar flares strip the Earth's atmosphere, life on the surface is restricted to the new breed of human clones who have life extension, telepathy and digital food. These Nanopeans have access to all forms of virtual experience, even parenthood, but for some, it's not enough. They steal Sub children and raise them in secrecy. But a group of Sub women, having lost children of their own, work out a way of entering the Nanopean network and find information about another predicted solar flare and government plans to evacuate 10,000 Nanopeans to a safe planet. With the help of a telepathic boy and a Nanopean recruit, the women hold the government to ransom in an attempt to rescue their children.
