Excellent collection
I enjoyed each of these. I knew the body from stand by me, one of my favourites over the years I have watched in excess of 50x and enjoyed how well they adapted the movie to the original text. The other stories were new to me and it took a while to enjoy the breathing method but I got there in the last hour. Well worth a read. My second king book, I’ll be working through more from my list now!

Some of my favorite stories
Excellent stories. Two of which have been made into some of the best movies in recent history. A brilliant man.

Awesome starter book
all 4 stories in this book are amazing. I've watched stand by me 1000 times and the book definitely out does the movies especually with the narrators voice. But it could do with book mark for each story.

YIKES!! This story messed with my mind. I never want to enter into this world ever again. And the absolute scariest thing about this book.... There are real people out there exactly like this.

Classic King
The Shawshank Redemption is the only story I can think of where I can honestly say the Movie is better than the book ......
Big call I know
But.... having said that it did clear up a few details and add a few the movie left out so all up a satisfying read .
I did find it hard to relate to Red as a red headed Irishman ......
Apt pupil was disturbing but well written (I haven't seen the movie)
The Body was an awesome coming of age story which I really enjoyed (also never watched the movie but plan to now)
Having never been into horror story's I was surprised how much I liked the last story and it has given me pause to consider looking forward not some of Kings other works I never would have considered before .
