Publisher's Summary
From best-selling author Lisa Lang Blakeney comes a sweet and sexy stand-alone friends to lovers romance set in the world of professional football.
Olivia: I was the new kid, in a small town, who didn't fit in when I met Mason Bridgewater. He was big, bossy, and almost knocked me out cold when we first met.
Our friendship grew, and a love grew greater out of that, but now I've ruined it. Will he ever speak to me again?
Mason: I was the golden boy, from a small town, whose entire world was rocked when I met Olivia Robertson. She talked differently, she acted differently, and I knew pretty quickly that I'd never meet a girl like her again.
Our friendship was unbreakable, our attraction undeniable, and our love unforgettable...or so I thought. The girl who meant everything threw me away like I meant nothing.
Will she ever love me again?

Childhood friends to lovers and back again
Diesel by Lisa Lang Blakeney is the third book in the Nighthawk series. This is a standalone football romance and there’s no need to have read the previous books.
Olivia and Mason’s story is a second chance, childhood friends to lovers romance when their paths cross as adults after they’ve both moved to New York and their past and love rekindles.
But this story isn’t a simple flashback, but more a summarised story of their friendship and relationship, until everything ended and that lead to present day with a HEA.
The story is dual POV’s from both Olivia and Mason.

Weak story
That’s the 3rd book in series book 1 and 2 I quite enjoyed, after reading I expected another good read however I found this one a letdown and am having second thoughts about finishing the series
