Ken Follett wurde am 5. Juni 1949 in Cardiff, Wales geboren. In den folgenden Jahren verfasste Ken Follett weitere Romane und übernahm nebenbei auch soziale Aufgaben in verschiedenen Vereinen und Verbänden.
