Obgleich er sich wegen dieser Frau nie auf Reisen begab, so musste er doch einmal eine notwendige Reise unternehmen. Da ging er auf den Geflügelmarkt, kaufte dort einen Vogel und brachte ihn nach Hause, damit er in seiner Abwesenheit als Wache dienen möge und ihm, was in seinem Hause vorgegangen war, erzähle. Dieser Papagei war sehr schlau und listig.
