About this listen
Diamond Dogs
The planet Golgotha - supposedly lifeless - resides in a remote star system, far from those inhabited by human colonists. It is home to an enigmatic machinelike structure called the Blood Spire, which has already brutally and systematically claimed the lives of one starship crew that attempted to uncover its secrets. But nothing will deter Richard Swift from exploring this object of alien origin.
Turquoise Days
In the seas of Turquoise live the Pattern Jugglers, the amorphous, aquatic organisms capable of preserving the memories of any human swimmer who joins their collective consciousness. Naqi Okpik devoted her life to studying these creatures - and paid a high price for swimming among them. Now she may be the only hope for the survival of the species - and of every person living on Turquoise.

Two Excellent Revelation Space Stories
Set in the Revelation Space Universe the two stories cover different scenarios.
The first Diamond Dogs is about a group of scientists who set out to solve puzzles in the blood tower - so named because errors result in death or severe injury.
The second set in a juggler world where a decision may have to be made to destroy the world to save the universe.
Highly recommend to any fan of Alastair Reynolds.

Cheated
This book is the worst in the series. The first chapter starts out with an exciting mystery, which, by the second chapter (Turquoise Days) reveals itself to "meh". and then the mysterious item is used... to literally no effect by the end. In conclusion, you are left wondering what happened, why, as nothing was worth anything at all. The story leaves you cheated out of your suspense, and your time.
