About this listen
It's been 12 years since she picked the wrong brother....
Destiny Fisher is ready to move past the guilt and shame of losing a fiancé to the war in Afghanistan 12 years ago. She never should’ve said yes to his proposal in the first place, and she's been plagued by her choices for more than a decade. She was his biggest regret.
Trent Dawkins has been married to the army ever since he walked away from his brother's funeral...and from the woman he loved. Delta Team Three is his family. Destiny has avoided him for all these years. Does seeing him remind her of his brother? Can the two of them face their demons and move forward?
A chance encounter leads to a flood of emotional baggage. Neither of them is certain they can repair the damage. There are so many obstacles. Distance, secrets, a threat to Trent’s life...maybe they weren’t meant to be.
Destiny's Delta is the second book in the Delta Team Three series. It can also be enjoyed as a stand-alone.

more romance than ops
I liked the pace and storyline of this book and i haven't listened to Becca before.
I found there was more romance and less angst in the plot which isn't for me. if its delta team then action is what I'm looking for.
the 2nd chance at love with the H and the h lends to the slow burn and building of feelings and emotions and even though the action in the story tied up nicely, It still wasn't enough for me.
being a series, I liked that past and future characters were included.
now to the narrator's! oh boy I should have gone with my gut and not with my head wanting to move through the series.
I've listened to Alexander once before and I was devastated as the series was brilliant but when book 3 changed the narrator to Alexander..I returned it after chapter 4. the voice he chose to intetpret for the lead male was horrible and I was so disappointed but I hoped he may be different in this book. although I did finish the novel and coped with the male lead voice, i struggled big time with his female side. he made them sound like bimbos.
the intelligent sassy h did not sound like that at all.
then there was laurel...she gave voice to our H that didn't characterise a delta soldier at all. for me, both narrator's just failed and detracted from the author's story.
a narrator can make or break a book, in my ears...it broke.
