About this listen

Destiny Jones is a princess with a bad attitude. She doesn’t play nice with others, she doesn’t dress up in pretty clothes, and she has absolutely zero interest in behaving like a lady. Especially when she’s so close to catching the people who tried to have her killed. Oh, and kidnapped her mother, queen of the planet Alera. Destiny’s sex-starved body, and its annoying Aleran Ardor, might kill her if her enemies don’t find her first.

Vennix was trained to hunt and to kill from the shadows. After years of serving in the Hive wars as an elite member of the Coalition’s Shadow Unit, he returned home to fight for the one thing he believes in: honor. Dedicating his life to the queen’s guard was an easy decision - but watching the most beautiful woman he’s ever met repeatedly risk her life is about to drive him mad.

Because Destiny is his. His body awakened for her. And if his new mate thinks Nix will stand idly by as she suffers without his skillful lover’s touch, she is very, very mistaken....

Ardor or not, she’s hunting a killer. Nix is going all protective alpha male, claiming she’s his mate just because she had a few mind-blowing moments in his bed. And she’s trapped deep undercover in the most dangerous place on the planet. If anyone discovers the truth, she’ll be dead. But if she gives up now, her mother will be lost forever.

Every time they get close, their enemy slips through their fingers like a thousand grains of sand. The hunt is on. The end is near. And if Nix dies protecting her, she’ll never forgive herself.

One tracket mind

Fantastic story, tho the author seems to have a one tracked mind with most situations, if not one character thinking about sex, more than one. Tho it all worked, there are a couple of areas that could do with some more explination to..The Author is 'Grace' tho l wonder if if it was a 'persona' or a 'pen name', as it the sex sence's came across more that masuline than feminine. That being said, l would love to have the story continue, see what happened to the girls, did they have 'weddings, children a future'.

enjoyed the series

Listened to the whole series. Enjoyable stories about a Queen who was spirited away from her kingdom and sent to earth, when the king was killed. Follow the story of her daughters as they track down those involved in the plot, meet their mates, and all questions answered in the end. Narration was good.

Ascension Saga

Those that are Grace Goodwin fans would have read the whole series and like me loved it. it starts with their mothers abduction and tells the story of the sister's following the kidnappers back to their mother Queen Seline's planet Alera, hopeing to find who kidnapped their mother. Trinity, Faith and Destiny are 3 amazing sisters. if you haven't read the series and are wondering should I read this series don't think just buy. you cannot go wrong with a Grace Goodwin book. plenty of sex, plenty of love and a lot of fighting.

the overall story was good

The story was good.. action, suspense, sex, drama and all with a great reveal at the end..
Joshua's pauses and slow talking was a bit annoying but otherwise a fun series.
