Überall auf dem Spielplatz im Glücksdorfer Park liegt Müll herum. Deshalb beschließen Paul, Paula und ihre Freunde, eine Müllsammelaktion zu starten. Dabei entdecken sie zufälligerweise einen Teddy, der tief in einem dichten Gebüsch unter einem Baum liegt. Als wenig später eine Ottermutter den Spielplatz aufsucht, stellt sich heraus, dass der gefundene Teddy ihrem Sohn Otto gehört. Warum der Teddy so weit entfernt von der Familie Otter in einem Gebüsch lag, dafür hat zunächst niemand eine Erklärung. Dann macht Karla eine interessante Entdeckung.
