Donnerpups ist völlig aus dem Häuschen, als er im Radio hört, dass die Donnershausener Windmühle abgerissen werden soll.
Denn irgendwo dort hat sein Großonkel einst seine hart erarbeitete Beute vergraben. Gold macht glücklich, findet der wilde Räuber, keine Frage also, dass er den Schatz bergen muss, bevor die Bauarbeiten beginnen. An der Mühle warten allerdings schon die Brüder Grumaldo, um ihnen das Gold abzuluchsen.
Doch so leicht gibt sich ein waschechter Räuberhauptmann natürlich nicht geschlagen...
