During the war with Thorea, Jason and Miranda are jumping through a wormhole when a power surge causes the wormhole to jump. The wake up to find themselves in another star system. With no contact with the Delphi League, they decide to land on a planet in the system. There they discover humans living in the stone age. Believing the system to be another Helike, they join one of the civilizations while they wait to be rescued. But like all worlds, there is greed and conflict. Weak and unbelievable.

Overall, it is a weak and unbelievable story. this series started out ok, but the latest books have poor story lines, and narration is boring and fails to excite in any way. There aren't any moments of excitement in this book. I wasted my money on this book.
