Anticlimactic
Fan of Baldacci but this not one of his best.
The Villain is evil but his demise of little consequence. Little development of Shaw's character throughout.

Gruesome
Too violent for me. The descriptions of the torture were explicit and frightening. You need a strong stomach to finished this one and I only got to chapter 24.
