Indie Clizby has the worst problem: she’s awkward around attractive men. Instead of saying, “Hi, I’m Indie,” she might say, “Hi, I’m yours.” She avoids interactions by researching day and night, wanting nothing more than to discover a cure for cancer—she made a promise long ago that she would. With piles of scholarly journals in her bag, Indie’s family drags her onto a cruise ship where she’s surrounded by attractive men who surprisingly don’t run from her quirky comments. The change of scenery and the men’s interest in Indie make her wonder—can romance and her job coexist? Not likely.
