Unexpected gem 💎
I didn’t expect much as most fantasies these days seem to all read the same.
I was pleasantly surprised with a unique story full of twists and turns, likeable characters and loathsome antagonists. The relationships presented in the book aren’t suddenly thrusted into being with little to no build up. Not in your usual fashion where it’s painstakingly obvious, but rather little jabs and teasing built over time.

enjoyable
thoroughly enjoyable if not mildly predictable but enjoyable all the same. worth a read and your time especially if you like books placed in an older time. main characters entitled can be a little irritating in the beginning but progresses and grows into a better person as time goes on.

a great fantasy escapism that got me binge listening
I really enjoyed this story, the way it was read was fantastic. The voices, the background music and the accents were all 5 star!
The storyline kept me captivated. I would recommend this for an easy listen and a fun bit of fantasy escapism.

great story but I dislike music.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and the narrator does a good job.
However, I really dislike the addition of music into the reading of a book! it frequently lessens my enjoyment.
I need someone to read the book for me, I don't want added music in my reading experience.
That is someone else's interpretation of the feeling of what's going on - not mine!

Loved this story it’s an easy enjoyable listen
It’s an easy listen with some twists and turns, and curiosity. I got to the end holding my breath and can’t wait to listen to part 2. The two narrators are nice to listen to.

Story line, at first thought it was just same old, same old, then the twists and turns appeared can’t wait for the next book,
I was a bit shocked by relationships, I won’t ruin it for anyone, but did not think I would complete listening to it, sooooo glad I did,
