Vivian Lestrange - celebrated author of the popular mystery novel The Charterhouse Case and total recluse - has apparently dropped off the face of the Earth. Enjoyable 1930s British Puzzle Story

The plot structure is the traditional Golden Era type and kept front-and-centre. it still maintains Lorac's lively interplay between characters.

This is the first of her stories, I have heard, with a different reader who quickly settles into the job.
