Someone is about to take their final bow . . .

Fresh from their adventures in Hong Kong, Hazel Wong and Daisy Wells return to England. But they're not going straight back to school - first they're staying with Daisy's uncle Felix in his London flat. But when London life gets a bit too exciting, the girls are packed off to the Rue Theatre to face an entirely new challenge: acting. They're going to star in a production of Romeo and Juliet - what could possibly go wrong?

But adventure has a nasty habit of catching up with the Detective Society, and it soon becomes clear there is trouble afoot at the Rue. Jealousy, threats and horrible pranks quickly spiral out of control - and then a body is found. Now Hazel and Daisy must take centre stage and solve the crime . . . before the murderer strikes again.

Romeo and Juliet with a few more murders

Once again this book has delivered, giving the reader a very cunning murder to solve. Showing how the Wells and Wong Detective Society are coping after another case that came close to home. In this book we get to learn more about the mysterious character of Uncle Felix and for the first time on more of a personal note, Aunt Lucy (Formerly Miss Lucy Liveden).

A puzzling, suspenseful read

Death in the spotlight, the seventh book in the murder most unladylike series, is absolutely thrilling. I will not spoil it, but the many plot twists and secrets revealed is amazing. Making this book a five star read from all views.
