Heartfelt and hilarious
Simultaneously heartfelt, hilarious and raw. Ali Wong is a comedic genius, a goddess. Thoroughly enjoyed every single second of this book!

Authentic stories of a triumphant life with all the warts included
I loved Ali Wong’s voice and the inner vulnerability and struggle of a tenacious courageous human who is totally honest in her storytelling.

Touching & witty
I laughed out loud. I cried. I was totally moved by this open and honest letter to daughters. It should be mandatory for all parents to write a book. Thanks for sharing Ali x

Loved it!
I have loved Ali Wong since I first saw Baby Cobra and I continue to love everything she does. So unapologetically herself and just hilarious. What a beautiful book she has created for her daughters.

Insightful, Funny and Intelligent Memoir
Ali Wong provides a refreshingly blunt set of letters giving insight into the world of standup, and balancing being a working mother and wife. Addressed primarily to her girls, the letters provide entertainment and worldly advice for any woman on topics like childbirth, courting, and making a career, without sparing the gory detail!
Full of laugh-out-loud moments, almost entirely unsafe for work, this is a memoir worth a listen for the series of strange looks you'll get laughing aloud to yourself.
