Publisher's Summary
A retired assassin can't find love, until he meets his match.
Almost dying puts some things in perspective for Reaper. For one, he is getting too old to be dodging bullets. And secondly, who will mourn him when he is gone? Maybe it's time to think about settling down. Problem is, exactly where does a retired assassin meet the right kind of lady?
Charming Reaper Montgomery - the first - turns to a dating service to solve his problem and finds himself intrigued by the owner, especially when his first date with her ends with bullets flying. Between her secret past and his killer resume, they'll make a deadly match.
A stand alone novel with a happily ever after.

Slightly better in audible.
AUDIBLE REVIEW
Slightly better in audible as narrator does a good job.
Annique’s reluctance is still annoying.
But Reapers confidence and huge ego was funny.
I listened at a faster speed.
BOOK REVIEW
Not the best I have read by this author. After the interest grabbing first few pages, I found the rest of the first half slightly boring and lacking this authors trademark humour that was in the two previous books. The constant denial of the heroine ended up being grating and took away my reading pleasure.
Liked Charming (Reaper) and his confident attitude but wish he had told Annique what he was earlier, she may have told him the truth.
These two didn’t really become a couple until nearly the end of the book but I felt no connection to them by this point.
The end was fun and I liked the twist with the shooter. The situation with the ex-boyfriend just seemed overdone, why did he want Annique dead? how many times can someone NOT be dead?
