Publisher's Summary
Murder, intrigue and marriage in the Welsh Marches of old...
When Sir Geoffrey’s unpopular brother, Henry, is murdered, he unwillingly inherits Goodrich Castle in the Welsh Marches. Immediately, his sister pushes him towards a marriage that will provide an heir and stability for the family. But when Geoffrey survives attempts on his own life, he wonders whether they are linked to Henry’s death, to his potential brides, or even to the rumoured murder of the Duchess of Normandy, as a Welsh revolt against the English looms.

Deadly Inheritance
This isn’t a book I would normally read but I came across it when I was vacillating on what to read next. This is a good who-dunnit albeit set in the 1100s or before. It was narrated very well. The storyline did tend to repeat itself in its description in places. It did keep me guessing as to ‘who-dunnit’ right up to the end. I haven’t ‘read’ a historical book for awhile so this was a good break between modern who-dunnits and the supernatural books I’ve been listening to, lol. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it to listen to.

this is one of my favourite books to listen to. I wish more of the series was available on Audible, however I'm glad to have this one!
