Max and Robin Kane are hired by an old Navy friend of Max’s, who is currently the chief engineer on the cruise ship Seaside Pleasure. If ever there was a misnomer for a ship, this would be it.
Mysterious, nefarious incidents are happening aboard the Pleasure—from fires to injured crew members. Max and Robin agree to board the cruise ship in Tampa on a trans-Atlantic cruise to Spain, where the ship will enter a well-earned refurbishment. Fires continue periodically, but that’s only the beginning of the chaos.
When a man is found dead on the ship, Max is tasked to investigate the death. What he finds will place he and his sister in grave danger. Can they reach Spain alive? Or will they find themselves in the cross-hairs of a brutal killer?
