Brilliant story that keeps you guessing to the end

This book has characters that come to life and unfold with skilful mystery and menace. A tapestry of human emotions and faults bound up in Creole culture and voodoo intrigue. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Just get to the ending already

How disappointing
I was so excited to read another book by this author but this novel just went on and on. The main character Marcie was a shallow, clueless woman without any empathy. I just hope people like this don’t really exist. The only positive was that I’m no longer envious of the wealthy.
How this book filled so many pages is the mystery
