Commissar Ciaphas Cain is a renowned and revered hero of the Imperium, a man who has faced and survived some of the vilest creatures the universe can throw at him. But when he is sent to a river-world, he must deal with a dangerous enemy, an enemy whose true identity remains unknown. As his vessel traverses the straits of the planet, Cain must uncover the face of this new foe so that he can understand and escape it. Cain is my favourite in 40k
Cain is the best. Toby Longworth voices the best version of caiphas cain. worth the money

Not what I was looking for
The series is great, but this is misleading as a one shot story is not a fifth book addition for its main story line. Also its so jarring having a new voice for Caiphus, not that the fella did a bad job, only that it is a different approach all together that is weird after 30 odd hours of the same guys voice who you've grown connected with, kinda like a 'is Pepsi okay' when you asked for a coffee.
