Not bad…

I had really high expectations for this book based on the high reviews. But it just wasn’t a 5-star book for me.
The world building and character development was rather superficial, lacking the depth necessary to properly draw you into the story,
That being said, it was interesting enough and not poorly written.

The narration also failed to meet the high expectations set by the other reviews. She wasn’t bad, and had a very pleasant tone to her voice. But her character distinction was not line nonexistent which made some of the dialogue a bit confusing at times.

It’s not a 5-star listen, but it’s pleasant and not too long.
