Publisher's Summary

A Top 100 Amazon best seller

From USA Today and Wall Street Journal best-selling author Giana Darling comes a dark MC romance about a broken enforcer and the beautiful, innocent woman who shows him that light can exist even in the dark....

A killer. A criminal.

A psychopath.

The Irish enforcer for The Fallen Men MC is everything good girls are taught to stay away from.

Only, I found myself inexorably drawn into his dark gravitational pull. I wanted to know what it would be like to walk beside the human personification of Death and hold his hand, feel his kiss, and maybe even earn his undying love.

But Priest McKenna is older, cold as ice, and notoriously unfeeling.

So what are the odds that a dead man walking would come to life for little, insignificant me?

When a serial killer begins to target the women of Entrance, BC, and The Fallen suffers another terrible blow, Priest resolves to hunt down the killer himself.

And when the murderer sets his eyes on me? My very own psychopath steps between me and certain death, thrusting us into an intimacy I prayed we would never recover from.

A stand-alone book in The Fallen Men series.

+18 Dark MC Romance - age gap, opposites

“I was just a dark heart wrapped in a pretty pink bow.”

+18 Dark MC Romance
4.5/5 ⭐️
4/5 🌶

Bea is a young church going girl donned in pink, who is in love with a much older enforcer of The Fallen MC, who goes by Priest, and is everything but. She has a duality to her that is interesting - she's an intelligent girl facinated by forensic psychology, that is what she studies at college, and she also has a murder podcast. She presents herself as one thing, while being something else interally - I think some of us can relate.

Priest is a sociopath of circumstance and has been through hell until he finally finds his home with The Fallen MC.

These two was a cute match. Priest's inner demons played so well with Bea's and I liked reading about it.

This book is the 6th book in the series, and I do recommend that it is read in order however since the overarching plot of the books prior to this has ended at Inked in Lies you could read this on it's own. Plot of this book is entirely new.

- grumpy sunshine
- opposites attract
- age gap
- 'I will protect you'
- bad guy good only for her
- Dexter vibes!
he calls her his 'little shadow'
- parallels to Hades + Persephone

K!nky: bl00d play, knife, carving + scarification

Audio edition: was so good! There was a few cringy moments with the audio narration but overall the narrators were a good match. The male narrator had a light Irish accent which *swoon*.

Strong religious connotations

The story of Priest and Bea was not an easy one. Bea had been seen as the good girl and Priest the killer. Given Priest's traumatic past, he had no ability to love. Bea was so open about her dark desires and craving for Priest.

There are religious connotations in this book, and it was sometimes overwhelming.

I read on Kindle and read along on Audible with good audio.
