Publisher's Summary

A dismembered body with no head, hands, or feet turns up in a suitcase at New Street Station. The only witness to the suitcase being deposited is a young runaway, Katy, who relies on selling the Big Issue to survive. Some of the female sellers are, themselves, running scared, and Katy sees more than is safe for her.

DCI Allison and Sergeant Mark Stringer are on the case. As usual, they have too much to do and not enough officers. Little do they know that this investigation will uncover a criminal gang involved in something much bigger, or that The Chameleon, now MRF officer Alex Wallace, will be helping Mark again.

The police still have to catch Bannen Sadler, who is intent on a vicious hate killing spree, as well as solving another case of murder and arson, where one of their own detectives is being targeted by a dangerous individual who is intent on wiping out an entire family for his so-called honor.

Bodies are piling up.

Will Allison and Stringer solve all the cases? And what can the police psychic, Holly, do to help? Finally, Allison witnesses something so extraordinary and unnerving that he begins to question himself. Find out in Dead Eyes Opened.
