Death in the Lake District

DI Kelly Porter is settling back into living in the Lake District and it is helped by her new relationship with Johnny. Her sister is still struggling after being abducted by the ‘Teacher’, and Kelly is trying her best to help out her family. She is working on 2 new cases, the disappearance of 3 young girls and what looks like a suicide by the Earl of Lowesdale. Family secrets are hiding so many lies, but can Kelly get to the truth.

Great

This is a great series so far. Don’t let the first book put you off, I’m glad I didn’t, even though I couldn’t finish it, I tried again with book two and I’m enjoying the involved plots as this writer improves her craft. Well read, pleasant narration.
