Intense and fast

I gotta say, this book was fast and intense... but I didn't feel as invested at times, although I struggle to say why. And I found myself glad when we got to parts with Zuzana and Mik (odd seeing as it's a fantasy series and the characters I look forward to are the two humans!).
But I'm into it enough to see how it all ends.

Best narrator ever

I read the first book in physical format and thought it was ok. I decided to try the second on audio and I'm SO GLAD I did. The narration for this book is magical and beautiful and captivating and made this book so much better. The story comes to life and I just adored listening to this
