Another great story
As always an intriguing story with many a twist and turn. It seems Cato and Macro will again fight for Rome.

The Eagle series
I have loved every book in this series and this one is brilliant. What a way to absorb history through Cato and Macro's adventures throughout ancient Rome's conquests, except for the Scots.
I can't wait for the next novel.

Well read, but more of the same
Having read or listened to all of this series, I can only add it is more of the same. Well narrated, but the story line is predictable and a bit monotonous.
