Upon entering the kitchen, they find their wife dressed in a gold sequined evening gown and offering a luxurious spread of eggs, bacon, toast, and Kool-Aid on fine china. Overwhelmed by this unexpected gesture of love, the protagonist savors every bite and is moved to tears.
After breakfast, the wife leads the protagonist outside to a deck where she has set up a home entertainment system with surround sound. She feeds them red seedless grapes. The protagonist is filled with gratitude for his loving family and friends and feels like this day couldn't get any better.
