About this listen

Start intercept: Sporadic reports indicate chaos and violence spreading through U.S. cities. An unknown evil is sweeping the planet. The dead are rising to claim the Earth as the new dominant species in the food chain. Intercept complete.

In your hands is the handwritten journal depicting one man's struggle for survival. Trapped in the midst of global disaster, he must make decisions; choices that ultimately mean life, or the eternal curse to walk as one of them. Enter, if you will, into the world of the undead.

Critic Reviews

"There is zombie fiction and then there is crawl-out-of-the-grave-and-drag-you-to-hell zombie fiction. Day by Day Armageddon is hands down the best zombie book I have ever read. Dawn of the Dead meets 28 Days Later doesn't even come close to describing how fantastic this thriller is. It is so real, so terrifying, and so well written that I slept with not one, but two loaded Glocks under my pillow for weeks afterwards. J. L. Bourne is the new king of hardcore zombie action!" (Brad Thor, New York Times #1 best-selling author)

Great

Great book. The silence is deafening. Makes you wonder and ask yourself what you would do. Good book and hits hard.

The story is told in the format of a diary and works extremely well in the telling of this tale. From the first page you are engaged and soon lose yourself in the struggle to survive. What I really liked about this book is the minimal amount of time trying to explain the dead rising. There was a virus it spread and dead people started walking. Well that’s good enough for me.

Like all good Zombie survival stories the plot is more about the people alive then the shambling rotting dead. They play a vital part in the story but they are not the story. Day by Day Armageddon delivers a fast and action filled story that hits the ball out of the park.

Good start

Starts good, then the lack of strong characters hurts it. Love the practical Zombie survival stuff

Monotone

The story was not bad I didn't like how he constantly struggles with having to do what's necessary. And the person who narrated was monotone and felt like he was just reading off a script

I don't like giving poor reviews buut

I struggled to finish this book. A combination of the story and the narration made it a really hard book to complete for me

Cringe macho prepper fantasy

Littered with weird right wing comments, detailing every bullet type and random technical detail. Boring. Truly don’t understand how it has such a high rating.

VA Performance was fine enough though.

Don’t waste your time, read ‘The Remaining’ by D. J. Molles instead. ‘The Mountain Man’ is also pretty entertaining.
