Too emotional

This whole series tore my heart out. If you love emotional thrillers, this is for you.
I only came here because the book I wanted to read (one day) there was a comment to start here with this series and honestly I regret it. I was not prepared to be in such emotional pain with this series.
The writer is incredible to have such a good reaction from her readers and to have such an intriguing story line going back and forth throughout.
it's not my cup of tea, that is why overall I only gave 2 stars BUT the narrator was brilliant and I can appreciate the brilliant writing, it just was not my type of story but it definitely is for others.
