Publisher's Summary
New: Now includes an interactive table of contents with books and chapters of the Bible for easy audio navigation!*
Ever since he became a Christian at the age of forty, it has been Poirot actor David Suchet's dream to make an audio recording of the complete Bible. In between filming the final episodes of Poirot, David Suchet spent over 200 hours in the recording studio to create the very first full-length audio version of the NIV Bible spoken by a single British actor.
This audio Bible is also available as an app. The app contains the full text of the New International Version (British Text), so you can easily navigate the audio or read and listen at the same time.

Such a great book!! could really change your life
I'm so happy that someone made an audio copy of the Bible. often we will never have time to sit down and read bible from back to front but it's great to be able to listen to it on the way to work and working around the house

Excellent and Soothing, Summary of Contents
Excellent to Listen to especially good for Audible Timer with Extension tool to listen to help to draft off to sleep. It is also slow enough to contemplate what is being said, has no background music or noises so you can clearly hear the word. The reader voice is excellent, and could be good for those reading along.
The only downside is no table of contents with the books and Chapters. The Table of Contents is Chapter 1, Chapter 2 etc to 1189.
SamathaStirling review had Chapter by Chapter reference list. I have summarised it below to show what Chapter in the Table of Contents is first of every book. This could be useful to have as a 1 page printout to help navigate quickly.
How it works, if you wanted to hear John 3:16 look up the table below and see John Chapter 1 is 998, so John 2 would be 999, and thus John Ch 3 would be Chapter 1000 in the table of contents. Please Enjoy, I have found this the easiest reading of the scripture to listen too, especially when my eyes are too sore to read. I Couldn't get the spaces or tab to make the list in two columns so I have used dots. Apologies it not fully in line to form a nice column from the edit to preview

Great reader but dopey to navigate
David Suchet does a great job and I loved listening to him read.
I wonder if there is a better way to be able to navigate the book though? The Bible is a massive text made up of lots of little books and while some people do sit down to listen to it from beginning to end I think most people jump around in it a lot.. Do we really have to randomly click around chapter numbers before we can find the part of it that we're interested in listening to? Is it just a limitation of the Audible software that it can't distinguish and label the different books in the Bible for us to select?
Anyway.. that's my only beef.. it's really well read and I'd listen to it a lot more if I could more easily navigate the book.

Full of gods grace
Performance was excellent and captivating along with the story of our Lord, only negative is the parts aren’t listed as what books are in what it’s split randomly into 13 parts.

Perfect, now that I have a navigation map
Pros:
* David Suchet narrates this NIV version beautifully, and his passion for the text shines through without overacting God's word.
* Easy to listen to.
* Much easier to study.
Cons:
* I struggled to navigate to the books / chapters I wanted to listen to, because the table of contents is a mystery. As I've worked through this audio version, I've made my own simple map to tell me where each book and chapter is, and now I can listen without losing my mind.

Incredible Narration
The only con is that the chapter titles are numbers rather than the actual book/chapter. Each title does start with David saying what book and chapter it is, so it's not too bad.
Still highly recommended!

A Must Have.
A great listen. David Suchet is an amazing narrator. The only downfall was, being the NIV edition, it's missing some books. The chapters are not labeled, so navigation is a guess at best.

Awesome reading, bad navigation
Great content, but no chapter headings at all. Needs at least book names and numbers.
