The Title is a misnomer
While the situation in which this book is set is interesting, the storyline moves quickly to be an hysterical (at times)love story. As in so many novels of late, this author seem to have trouble holding the storyline to the end - as though they had run out of ideas.
Set during the second world war, I hoped to learn about the Ukranine but this was only superficial. The two main women, Leesa and Irena were two dimensional.
I love to read about the Second World War, especially the Resistance and this just did not do it.
