About this listen
Thomas and Tasmin, twin siblings hired to oversee a wedding feast in Cana, worry when the host runs out of wine...until a guest tells Tasmin to have the servants fill the pitchers by the gate with water from the cistern. Reluctantly, she obeys and is amazed when rainwater turns into the finest wine ever tasted in Cana.
When Thomas impulsively decides to follow the teacher from Nazareth, he and Tasmin argue - since the twins have been together since the womb, Tasmin can't accept losing her brother to some magician-prophet. Aided by Jude, younger brother to Jesus of Nazareth, she decides to follow the Nazarene's group and do whatever she must to mend the fractured relationship and bring her brother home.

ties in with the story of Jesus' ministry
Loved it. Runs along side the 3.5 years of Jesus' ministry. Lots of references to scripture. Can't wait to get the next book.

Well written
I was hesitant in places and at first about facts and experiences not revealed in Scripture or (as far as I know) even in the Apocrypha. In fact I skipped some parts and had planned to return it.
The story is written to give an opportunity to share many Old and New Testament texts, prophesies and events. I valued that greatly. I’ll probably listen again to brush up on some of these beautiful prophesies in the Bible.
The female narrator was excellent, with a lovely voice (and sounding like Hebrew is her native tongue). The male narrator was fine, but had a lesser role.
All round a valuable book and experience.

Amazingly written.
One of the best books I have read. Knowing the stories well, Angela has the happy knack of giving the fictional fill in a reality that draws you into the time and place and enables you to be part of the truth of the Gospel.
Well done Angela Hunt.
