About this listen
Dating for Dudes is a how-to manual that demystifies the world of dating in fun, relaxed language and bite-sized pieces more fit for a dive bar than a psychiatrist's office. But the kind of bar talk that sticks with you long after you close your tab.
In a dating world run by the hot new app of the minute, powered by the almighty swipe, and populated by a whole lot more men than women, many dudes find themselves lost at sea. There are so many men who aren't looking for a slick line and a quick lay. Rather, they truly long for solid connections, real relationships and dynamic love—they just don't have the tools to find it, and perhaps more importantly, hold onto it when they do.
Dating for Dudes dives into the kinds of topics men don't often feel they're allowed to talk about everything from who they are and what they truly want outside of a partner and dealing with rejection, to how to set up an appealing dating profile and how to actually talk to a woman. D4D leads listeners through starting out, and tackling the journey all the way through to the end zone. With its frank (and proven) advice, relaxed humor, and true understanding of both the men it speaks to and the women it advises on. Dating for Dudes is not just about finding your partner it's about discovering yourself.
Meet your coach, Sara Banyan: Before I turned to coaching, I worked in Hollywood with dudes like George Clooney, Billy Zapka, Ted Dansen, and Jeremy Sisto. Then became a coach to thousands of actors. My method teaches people how to stop acting and start BEING. I've coached a Cy Young World Series-winning pitcher, the OG host of Apple Music, two former NFL players, one WWE giant, and a Tony-nominated actor with countless humanitarian and activism awards among many others. I may not be a therapist, but I grew up in a house of—count them—two. (Oy). I've got a wealth of experience in the dating world, therapy, self-help, and, most importantly, coaching dudes.
