Marooned in a sprawling farmhouse in Norfolk, teenage Linda Radlett feels herself destined for greater things. She longs for love, but how will she ever find it? Fabulous
Loved the chaos and warmth of the family life, the characters and the narration. Lots of laugh out loud moments. Do yourself a favour and listen to this

Wonderful!
A brilliant read/listen - a wonderful array of characters with a gently developing story line and excellent narration. One of the best books I have read in a while - poignant, witty and beautifully written. Loved it from start to finish!

Brilliantly Darling

A must read book
The narration of this book is absolutely brilliant. Wonderful story and great characters. Lots of hilarious moments and an unexpected ending that had me in tears. Highly recommend!

A sheer delight!
Just enjoyed this story and reading so much. Laugh out loud funny at times. Excellent narration. Really feel I got to know all the characters. A perfect antidote to the pressures of life. Highly recommend.

Absolutely marvellous
So will translated, this was a very funny reanimation of a Nancy Mitford funny piece in the modern world.
Be prepared to laugh… because basically… it all boils down to goodness, kindness and manners.

A very enjoyable read
This was such an easy book to listen to. The performance is spectacular and the story well written. Most characters are hilarious and I often laughed out loud at their idiosyncrasies. I truely wished this book wouldn’t end.
