Narration so over the top

I have enjoyed this narrator before but in the first hour or so I felt like I was listening to someone commentating on a horse race. Every word was so urgent and over the top. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it. I can see how it would work for other listeners but just wasn't my up of tea, DNF
