great Story all round
I loved the continuation of the Vancouver Wolves hockey series, but now about Mikeas' friend.. the Mafia side.
a witnessed hit by a sedistic big wig of the crime world. Olivia is put in police protection and nearly dies twice. So now Andrusha has to protect her against his better judgement.. risking everything for this innocent woman he is now falling in love with..
with gun fights, knife fights, corrupt cops, murdered crime bosses, and backstabbing mob members.. will they be OK? Will they live? Will they get their HEA??

A man will stop at nothing to protect what’s his
This love story is like no other. I didn’t know if that sounds cliche, but I loved their story. The lengths that andrusha would go to protect this girl…. Is so heroic. Yeah yeah I know he’s a bad man in every sense of word, but he go doesn’t have a thing for dangerous men lol. Olivia was annoying and childish at times but she was worried about her man. She refused to leave him behind. Even he went to prison she still waited for for him. He sacrificed everything to keep her alive. That’s romantic

A sweet story
A pleasant listen though the Russian accents were problematic.
It wanted to be a good action romance but the action was largely skipped over and there were some jarring moments where research was not sufficiently done.
But still, a sweet story.

enjoyed the story line
it was well written and I just really like it. had sex seems that weren't to long or two much and it had drama spread out wasn't a huge buld up to the end

Very enjoyable
This book was great, only down side I can say really is, I felt like his Russian accent kinda switch to South African a couple times but other than that loved it and love Madeline!
