About this listen
Abbey
Some scary-looking aliens have just boarded Fortuna Tau, our little asteroid mining station. Kordolians, by the looks of things. What the hell do they want with this floating rust bucket? What are they even doing here?
Come to think of it, I've never seen a Kordolian up close before. They're huge and intimidating, with strange silver skin and pointed ears. They have freaky nano-armor, and they're packing a serious arsenal. We humans stand no chance against them.
When I encounter their general, I find him insufferable. Arrogant. Domineering. He won't tell me anything. I guess that's what happens when your race is kicking ass across the Nine Galaxies. You get pigheaded.
So why do I keep running into him? Why does he keep looking at me like that? And what's with this weird feeling I get when he's around? I really hope these guys fix their ship and go away soon, because I get the feeling they could be major trouble.
Tarak
Sucked into a wormhole during a fierce skirmish with an enemy ship. Spat out near a human mining station in a remote corner of the Nine Galaxies. Stuck with weak humans who operate with inferior metals and technology.
This mission couldn't get any worse.
We need to fix our craft, kill the cursed Xargek, and get out of here before the wormhole collapses. I don't really care about these humans. Their existence makes no sense to me.
So why has this strange human female captured my attention? She's messy, awkward, and she babbles nonsense half the time.
These humans are crazy. I don't understand them at all, especially this female. Why do I keep coming back to her?
I need to leave this place before I go insane.
Contains mature themes.

GREAT OVERALL
I loved this book! I listened to this as an audiobook and loved both narrators and how they brought the characters to life. Abbey and Tarak were both amazing characters who develop over time with their behaviour and beliefs. The different creatures and landscapes were described really well and I could easily picture what was being said. This book has an adorable ending and holds the whole romance in the book so you can decide if you want to read the next one which features the same settings and a continued timeline, but different characters. I definitely don't regret reading this book and would recommend it to those that love this genre. I loved listening to this book!

Excellent
I purchased this book back in 2019 on my Kindle and read this and the others in the series, many times over as I love the whole series. I decided to purchase the Audiobooks to compliment my written books so I could listen as well as read, and I'm not disappointed! Excellent work and I loved listening to both perspectives in each voice.
I highly recommend both reading and listening to this book and the others in the series, you will NOT be disappointed! Thank you Anna. 💞❤

YES!
I really enjoyed the flow of the story, and the characters are extremely likeable. This novel has one of the best erotic scenes I have ever read/listened to and it honestly blew my mind. It was so sensual and beautiful (the pool scene). I really love the chemistry between Abbey and Tarek.
One thing I did notice is when the male narrator spoke in Abbey’s voice he sounded like Winnie the pooh and I couldn’t stop laughing. But his deep voice was really nice to listen to.

***The Mighty Kordolians***
I alternated between reading and listening to this book and i am sorry to say but i have preferred reading due to the narrators, they are absolutely wrong for the characters. The female narrator well just didn't do it for me and i found myself bored out of my mind. no character what so ever she doest sound nothing like Abbey i imagined wud sound like. The male narrator sounds like always in a command mode even while making love. * sighs* but the story itself apart from lacking humour its great with dark decadence.

Excellent Story
I just loved the story of Abbey from Earth and Tarak who is a Kordolian. I want my own Kordolian who wouldn’t want a sexy grey alien for a mate, they are loyal and as hot as hell. I highly recommend this audio book and story and I am looking forward to the next one.

Very Enjoyable
I really enjoyed this story, even though this is not my normal genre.
I loved the main male character. I liked the female character as well, but there were a few moments of inconsistency in her personality. I was able to let this slide because the rest of the story was so enjoyable.
The female narrator did well, but the male wasn't great.

wondering if Ruby Dixon and Anna carvin are one?
this book is so close to Ruby Dixon's series of the blue planet that I wonder if she is indeed actually Anna craven ...lol.
however I see that dark planet Warriors was written or Produced earlier than Ms Dixon's.
enjoyed Jillian Macie and Todd McLaren as narrators and I'm sorry to see that Todd is absent in the next one but we do see him back in the Third. I'm guessing the second book won't be as exciting as it will probably be based around Earth but I've read reviews saying that every book has a different suspense and anxiety so, am going to plunge in
