Publisher's Summary

When you feel God has abandoned you…

When your life just does not make sense…

When you have unsatisfied soul desires…

You need answers. You need healing!

You have taken the metaphoric red pill; this will lead you down the rabbit hole into darkness first and then to light. Your journey in the darkness or your suffering process is your Dark Night of the Soul.

Most of the great beings in our history who have a positive legacy have a story of suffering behind them. This includes Christ, Buddha, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Oprah, Superman, and many others. This suffering process redefines a person, remakes one's character, chips away the darkness to bring out the luster of your diamond self. This is your soul metamorphosis.

“Diamond is a piece of coal that had been subjected to extreme pressure and temperature.”

While there are many reasons people suffer (most are self-made or bad decisions or external in nature), the type of suffering referred to in Dark Night of the Soul has a clear and definite purpose. The purpose is your soul growth.

Although the lines between Dark Night of the Soul (DNOS) and general suffering are blurry, there are some important differences.

  1. DNOS is mostly in your soul vs. suffering is mostly in your head
  2. DNOS is directly related to soul’s purpose and one's destiny vs. suffering is not necessarily related to your purpose or destiny
  3. DNOS is divine influenced, no real remedy exists vs. suffering is usually manmade or external in nature, remedy is generally known
  4. DNOS is not easily alleviated vs. suffering can be alleviated with therapy, medication, social support, emotionally healthy habits
  5. DNOS causes exponential spiritual growth vs. suffering can help you grow, but depends on the person
  6. DNOS is caused by anything and in accordance with divine timing vs. suffering is caused by external factors that can be random
  7. DNOS is not easy to explain, very few can relate to you vs. suffering is easily explainable and people can relate to your experiences
  8. DNOS makes you the best version of yourself vs. suffering can make you a better person, but it depends on the person

The Dark Night of the Soul explores:

  • What really is Dark Night of the Soul and how it is different from depression/suffering
  • How long will this last
  • What happens during this process
  • Possible reason for your unexpected suffering
  • Why the Dark Night of the Soul is truly the metamorphosis of your soul
  • A practical guide to dos and don'ts during your dark times
  • How to heal oneself with simple, effective, and practical healing techniques

“The Soul is placed in a body like a rough diamond, and must be polished; or the luster will never appear.” (Daniel Defoe)
