Publisher's Summary
It happens whenever wolf shifter Roni Axton is near Marcus Fuller: a crackle of sexual awareness that's intoxicating...and deeply annoying. Marcus is a pack enforcer who oozes power, but Roni is lethal in her own right - nothing like the flirty females who flock around him. Even still, his possessive gaze makes one thing clear. Marcus has singled her out for seduction, and he wants to make her sit up and beg.
No matter how aloof and unfazed Roni acts, Marcus can tell she wants him. When a brutal attack by a jackal pack forces them to work together, it's the perfect opportunity for Marcus to chip away at her defenses - until he falls into his own trap, completely unprepared for the intensity of their connection. Roni is the only one who's ever seen past his shifter charm and discovered the man hiding beneath it. And for Marcus, claiming Roni once will mean needing her forever.

****Dark and Decadent****
An explosive story of a playboy and a tomboy, it's fast paced, an absolute thrill ride from beginning to end. Suzanne your characters are fictional but you tackles realistic issues, from sexual assault to trauma and i applaud you for that. Jill thank you for another amazing narrative. xox

Dark Instincts
Roni and Marcus make me laugh so much. The banter between the two of them is great. Love how Roni pulls out her pieces of info to put people off. These books are so much fun to read/listen to.

Roni and Marcus
I loved Roni and Marcus's story. This series is all about a good time watching the alpha males find their mate. I was a little scared when Marcus found Roni in the water though but they got their HEA.

Great Narration.
Great Narration.
Read through KU whilst also flicking and listening to the audible version too. What a great idea to Read and Listen. Very handy using my headphones when doing stuff around the house. I don’t lose the flow of the story.
Will be buying all the audible books over time.
I have to say the narrator for this book was one of the best with an enjoyable narration. Lots of inflections and I could tell most of the characters apart.
BOOK REVIEW
Very enjoyable story with truly likeable characters.
Great having the two packs working together to deal with some nasty jackals.
Not knowing it was a spin off series, I had read the first Mercury Pack book so I am ahead of what is happening in this book. Now I am up to date and will be continuing in reading order rather than series order.
Having read these books straight through I found this so similar to the previous books with the same synopsis of situations and problems.
A nasty woman who likes to belittle others. Then we get some other woman drama as well as the bond not forming due to emotional blocks.
After the lack lustre heroine in the last book I was wary of continuing. Luckily Roni is a great heroine with a quirky attitude I adored.
Lots of laugh out loud moments for me with Roni and her smart mouth and her performing some real antics.
Marcus has depths that we finally get to see. So nice how he was so focused on Roni.
Great having the two packs working together to deal with some nasty jackals.
Loved how the women dealt with the female jackal.
Trick being the voice of reason was interesting.
Once again mummy issues and weird parents seem to abound.
Of course these parents are the cause of the H’s emotional blockage to their bonding.
Roni’s mother is a nasty woman who likes to belittle her daughter.
Marcus’s mother is just plain nuts. Glad he told his father he was not interested.
It was a bit too easy to know who was part of SNM and had uploaded the video of Roni’s Attack.
Read through KU whilst also flicking and listening to the audible version too. I have to say the narrator for this book was one of the best with an enjoyable narration. Lots of inflections and I could tell most of the characters apart.
