Publisher's Summary
Rescue might just be the death of her.
Far from home
Fiona Russell has been snatched from Earth, imprisoned, and used as slave labor, but nothing about her abduction makes sense. When she's rescued by the Grih, she realizes there's a much bigger game in play than she ever could have imagined, and she's right in the middle of it.
Far from safe
Battleship captain Hal Vakeri is chasing down pirates when he stumbles across a woman abducted from Earth. She's the second one the Grih have found in two months, and her presence is potentially explosive in the Grih's ongoing negotiations with their enemies, the Tecran. The Tecran and the Grih are on the cusp of war, and Fiona might just tip the balance.
Far from done
Fiona has had to bide her time while she's been a prisoner, pretending to be less than she is, but when the chance comes for her to forge her own destiny in the new world she's found herself in, she grabs it with both hands. After all, actions speak louder than words.

Fiona
Fiona is on her own and has to make her own way in this foreign environment.
She makes mistakes because she is working blindly.
She is really just trying to stay alive and free from slavery.
The AI that finds her, ends up off his space ship, and his space ship is destroyed.
He is out of his depth because he needs something to control.

Excellent
The second Class 5 book focuses on Fiona Russell abducted from Earth and Battleship Captain Hal Vakeri. They meet when Hal who is chasing pirates follows the crashed ship and finds Fiona who is being held as a slave and rescues her. What follows is a story full of betrayal and surprises not expected along with a burgeoning relationship between Hal and Fiona. Every bit as good as the first book it is more than worth the effort to listen to and I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.

Greatly enjoy
I really enjoyed this book and the narration. The only bad thing i can say is i thought, as a experienced captain of a battle ship, hal didnt even seem bothered by his crew trying to get him in trouble with his superior. Then try to stop him having a relationship with a women to tje point they endanger her life and knowingly go against his orders the second hes not around. Kinda makes me question how much he was really into her and how good a captain he really is if he has so little control over his crew. The we care about you and think you're making a mistake just doesn't cut it in a military setting with the things that happened. I kept waiting for hal to deliver a real smack down. As either a military leader or as a friend to his friends who have gone way to far but it never happen. And i kept waiting for his second in command to confess he was in love with hal because that or jusy plain racism is the only explanation to his extrem reaction. It just made me question hal as a captain and his feelings towards Fiona.
