In 1973 the BBC adapted its hit TV series for radio, featuring the original TV cast and characters. Three series were broadcast between 1974 and 1976, with episodes adapted from their TV counterparts by Harold Snoad and Michael Knowles.
Now you can enjoy once again these unique recordings, with a supporting cast including John Laurie, James Beck, Arnold Ridley, and Ian Lavender. just as funny as the tv show
dads army the radio play is just as funny as the tv show. definitely should give it a go if your a fannof the tv show

A great classic comedy
Dad's army is a great comedy and is an absolute classic. It is also perfect for something like an audio only version.
This and Yes Minister are probably my two favourite radio series of all time.

Classic comedy at its best
I watched the re-runs as a kid on TV listening to the episodes just as good and enjoyable, not hard to see why this is one of history's top rated comedies.
