About this listen
A CD edition of this popular Christie mystery. Read by Hugh Fraser, Captain Hastings in the popular TV series.
The house guests at Styles seemed perfectly pleasant to Captain Hastings; there was his own daughter Judith, an inoffensive ornithologist called Norton, dashing Mr Allerton, brittle Miss Cole, Doctor Franklin and his fragile wife Barbara , Nurse Craven, Colonel Luttrell and his charming wife, Daisy, and the charismatic Boyd-Carrington.
So Hastings was shocked to learn from Hercule Poirot’s declaration that one of them was a five-times murderer. True, the ageing detective was crippled with arthritis, but had his deductive instincts finally deserted him?…

Farewell old friend
Thank you for being so wise and steadfast. You solved so many crimes with your cleverness, but more importantly you always did it with class and compassion.

A brilliant conclusion to an incredible series
I've enjoyed the entire series, but this would have to be my favourite book in it.
Okay, now what? I guess I can always start the series from the beginning..

And that's a wrap!
What a wonderful journey we've been on; all of the Hercule novels and stories are complete. Masterful narration by Hugh Fraser as always. Nobody else is as adept at voice characterisation. Even though it's the end, still a great story.

A sad ending
A great twist, as always. It's sad to know it's the last of Poirot, but what a wonderful send off - so honourable to the character.
