History in a readable format
Loved this book. Straight-through read, couldn't put it down. For those who think it's "way too violent" I have to ask...do you realise this kind of violence, yes, the graphic stuff, occurs every day somewhere in the world and our Aboriginal people were butchered back in these times. Perhaps if people weren't so delicate about hearing the absolute truth some of these types of monsters could be gotten rid of. The book is as true an account as we're ever going to get in this day and age. The author did a brilliant job...now to start book two. I just hope book three isn't too far away. Bravo.

Love this book!!
Read all Peter Watt books years ago and so happy to hear them on audiobook and wonderfully read by John Voce. Once again couldn't put it down. Love this tale of the two families in our beautiful country Australia. So looking forward to hearing the next one in this series.
