cute but felt unfinished

i could’ve lived without the explicit description of wanting to lay your life down for the baby boy who you would grow up to fall in love with but otherwise this was cute!! it felt a little unfinished to me - like we were so fixated on the past and their childhood that we didn’t really get to focus on them as adults falling in love as much as we should’ve. them getting together felt a bit rushed for me, i wish we had seen a little more of them as grown people and the feelings they were experiencing for each other.
