Arguably the best one yet
With satisfying payoffs and story, and excellent performances by the Soundbooth team, the Crowned In Black audio book is an exemplary example of audio books done right. James Osiris has smashed out another banger in his enthralling Archemi series. Blending sci-fi, fantasy and gaming mechanics around the struggle of surviving on a digital arc at jeopardy from its own imperfect systems, James Osiris has created some of the best stories in the LitRPG genre. And I'd argue Crowned in Black is the best one yet with payoffs from the previous installments coming to a head in this volume. With it safely in the hands of Soundbooth, they've elevated James' tale. Excellent work and a most enjoyable listening experience.

James and the narration team has done it again! Another great book full of humour, drama and action. Also has a great soundtrack to intensify the story. I highly recommend all of the Archemi online series.
