The Star Kingdom's ally, Erewhon, is growing increasingly restive in the alliance because the new High Ridge regime ignores its needs. Add to that the longstanding problem of a slave labor planet controlled by hostile Mesans in Erewhon's stellar back yard, a problem which High Ridge also ignores.

Honourverse interlude.

This story fits into the main HH story sequence well and fills in some important gaps in the overall schemes.
Sadly the narration is not a patch on the other books and the editing and sound quality a bit under par.

Good story, Bad editing

Over all it was a good listen I just wish that at the end of chapters there was more of a pause. It was a little jarring at first.
